Doctoral Program students are affiliated with one of the seven (7) research support units at the Faculty of Psychology, UGM. Within the Research Support Unit, hereinafter referred to as the Unit, students learn to act as Research Interns. The following are the seven units:
- Center for Life-Span Development
- Center for Indigenous and Cultural Psychology
- Center for Public Mental Health
- Psychology Consultation Unit
- Human Quality Development Unit
- Psychodiagnostic Tools Development Unit
- Mind, Brain & Behaviour Laboratory
As Research Interns, Doctoral Program students are supervised by Faculty of Psychology lecturers who act as researchers within the Unit. Additionally, Doctoral Program students assist lecturers in supervising research activities conducted by Undergraduate and Master’s students affiliated with the Unit.
Doctoral dissertation research is part of the Unit’s research where the students are affiliated. Therefore, students can utilize the facilities provided by the respective Unit.
